Industrial Gases

Industrial Gases
Industrial gases are specially manufactured gaseous materials produced for use across a wide range of industrial, medical, and scientific applications. They include gases such as oxygen, nitrogen, argon, hydrogen, acetylene, carbon dioxide, and other specialty or high-purity gas mixtures. These gases are essential in processes like metal fabrication, welding, chemical manufacturing, healthcare, food and beverage processing, electronics production, and energy industries. Industrial gases are typically supplied in compressed gas cylinders, as bulk liquids, or via pipeline deliveries, depending on customer needs and scale.
Production at OIGC
Industrial gases are produced using a variety of industrial technologies, often involving:
-
Air Separation Units (ASUs) — where atmospheric air is cooled and separated into major components such as oxygen, nitrogen, and argon using cryogenic distillation and other separation technologies.
-
Chemical Synthesis & Specialized Production — for gases like hydrogen or nitrous oxide, which may be produced via controlled chemical processes or catalytic reactions.
After production, gases are purified, compressed, and packaged into cylinders or cryogenic liquid tanks, or supplied in bulk quantities for large industrial customers.
